Directions to Home Goods
First to Review
It's a good thing I don't live in State College, because I would be here way more often than I should and my house would be overflowing with odd-ball knick-knacks and tchotchkies..
This is the kind of store that has a bunch of stuff you don't really NEED but that you inexplicably WANT. Like wire birdcages. I have absolutely no need for a birdcage, yet I found myself eyeballing them (Homegoods has quite a selection FYI, in a variety of sizes and shapes!) and daydreaming about what I would put in it and where it would go. Like on a nice end table perhaps, (which the Homegoods store also has a selection of). And before I knew it, this birdcage purchase had snowballed into 20 new accent pieces that I suddenly had to have! This place is dangerous.
Every room in the house is covered here. They have a huge selection of mirrors, bedding, accent furniture, lamps pillows and really lovely kitchen section. They also have the outdoor patio area covered (if you have one of those) but mostly with decorative pieces like outdoor statues and pots. If you're in the market for a garden hose and ant spray stick with Home Depot. Styles range from modern, to traditional & classic with a healthy dose of Eastern & Exotic influences. If you've been searching for a massive statue of Buddha's head, for instance, look no further! Prices range from fantastic to "good", I was particularly impressed with the prices for cookware
